| Explore Baja California and the exciting Sea of Cortez from La Paz this fall with a friendly group of gay scuba divers!
You’ll dive the legendary Sea of Cortez, known for its schools
of fish, rays and sea lions. Explore ‘El
Bajo’ seamount in search of the elusive hammerhead sharks known to lurk in the depths, and ‘Los
Islotes’, home to a colony of sea lions. Cortez diving is unique: rocky reefs and pinnacles with some coral and a variety of colorful fish endemic to this area of the Eastern Pacific.
October offers the best diving conditions here, and our visit coincides with Mexico's fascinating "Day of the Dead" commemorations. Rent a car on our last day or just come along with your new friends from the group and explore the quaint artists' town of Todos Santos, an hour away on the Pacific side of the peninsula.
Just a two-hour
flight from Southern California, near the tip of Baja California and north
of Cabo San Lucas, La Paz is off the beaten tourist path and near the best diving the Sea of Cortez has to offer.

Getting there:
Alaska Airlines flies to La Paz (LAP) from multiple gateway cities via Los Angeles.
AeroMexico and Mexicana both fly to La Paz (LAP) via Guadalajara, Mexico City and other gateways within Mexico.
We do not recommend that you fly to Cabo San Lucas (SJD) and travel by bus or rent a car. Yes, it is possible, but you better be sure you want a real adventure on bad roads. Any time or money you save in the air will be entirely eaten up on the ground. It's much simpler to fly directly to La Paz (LAP).
Deposit:
Deposit of $500 is due upon
booking. Balance due 90 days prior to departure.
We can match solo travelers with a roommate, or treat yourself to the privacy of a single for an additional $400.
Non-diver discount $350.
