Explore the exotic islands of Indonesia’s Komodo National Park on board Kararu Dive Voyages newest liveaboard!

Starting point for this expedition is the enchanting island of Bali. From there we will depart for Komodo National Park to dive the most biologically diverse waters on the planet. Everything from mantas to macro life such as pygmy seahorses can be found here. On the island of Komodo, we’ll seek out the famous dragons in the wild as well as view and learn about them at the park’s visitor’s center.

To maximize our time in the National Park, we board the ship in Bima, on the neighboring island of Sumbawa, and our flight there from Bali is included in the price of the trip.  This scenic flight on Indonesia’s domestic airline, Merpati, will give us an overview of some of the areas we will be diving. Also included is free Nitrox for those divers who are certified to use it.

This trip is an ideal add-on to our gay and lesbian week in Wakatobi with the Northern California Rainbow Divers. We’ll also have an opportunity to spend four extra days in the highlands of Bali, the cultural heart of the island.

Our Package Includes:

• 7 nights aboard the Kararu Voyager in air-conditioned double occupancy cabins with private bath
• All meals and between meal snacks.

• Up to 5 dives a day, conditions permitting

• Domestic flight from Bali to Bima

Not Included:
Dive gear rental, international airfare to Bali, accommodation the night prior to departure, alcoholic beverages, international departure tax ($25), National Park fees, any fuel surcharges (currently $100), tips, and items of a personal nature.

Flights:
Many international carriers service Denpasar, Bali, including Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific. Call us for assistance with flights and remember that due to the International Date Line flights from North America depart August 2nd to arrive August 4th, the day before our boat departs the next morning.

Deposit:
$700 deposit to hold space. Balance due 120 days prior to departure.
